WHERE IT ALL BEGINS
We are Davide and Mariarosa, and ours is a family of hoteliers that has been welcoming guests for generations.
It all began in 1964, when our father Raffaele purchased his first hotel in San Giuliano. The eldest of four brothers, all of whom became hoteliers, after a few years he decided to build something of his own, and in 1968 the Hotel De Amicis was born in Riccione, soon becoming his home.
Those were years when hospitality was simple and genuine: personal relationships,
midnight spaghetti gatherings, and guests who became friends.
As children, we spent our days with our guests, both at the beach and at the hotel.
Many returned every year from Milan, Bergamo, Brescia, and Mantua,
always choosing the same room and the same beach umbrella.
With some of them, those bonds still last to this day.
Today, we proudly carry on Raffaele's dream,
which began more than 50 years ago.
Many things have changed, but our Romagna spirit remains the same:
genuine hospitality, conviviality, and the pleasure of making every guest feel at home.
This is reflected in the many guests who return to visit us year after year and gather
in the evening on the hotel's terrace, chatting together like old friends.
